growing, wreath, ruffle butt, cheesy chili mac

Miss Avery decided it was cool to get up at 6:30 this morning.  I wasn't a very happy mommy since she has been sleeping in for me until 7:30-7:45 lately.  But once we are up and I've got my cup of coffee I start to feel better.  We had breakfast and played this morning before morning nap.

I also did some cleaning in Avery's room.  I feel like over the past couple of weeks our little big girl has done some growing!  She is now in size 5 diapers and we switched to Huggies brand.  I've also noticed that her footed pajamas and one piece outfits (like the one in the picture below) are getting small.  Whenever she sits, bends, or squats the buttons pop open in the crotch/leg area because she doesn't have enough room in the outfit.  Whenever she outgrows a clothing size, these style outfits and pajamas are always the first to go.
Here we are making a mess in the playroom before lunch.
After lunch, Avery and I headed out to Hobby Lobby and Super Target.  I needed to get something new to hang on our front door.  The door hanging that I had up covered the peep hole which wasn't ideal.  The peep hole is there for security and I need to be able to use it.  I didn't find anything at Hobby Lobby (except for some headbands for Avery), but I did find this pretty Valentine's Day wreath at Super Target.  I really like it.  I want to have something for the front door for all the different seasons/holidays.
When we got home from the stores we saw that we received our package from Ruffle Butts!  I ordered Avery a white Ruffle Butt to use with all her spring and summer dresses this year.  I even had her name embroidered on it in light pink.  I love it!
Tonight I tried a new recipe I found courtesy of Pinterest.  I have found so many great recipes on that site.  It is my new go to for ideas.  If you have Pinterest, follow me! (link is on the right side bar)

Here is my awesome cheesy chili mac that I made.  It was delicious.  Eric loved it.  We have lots of leftovers and I am looking forward to having it for lunch tomorrow.  We served it with a side of green beans.  I'll be adding this meal into the rotation for sure.
Eric is home with me tonight.  We enjoyed dinner and are now relaxing for the evening.  Eric is brewing two batches of beer tomorrow.  Avery and I will probably go out for awhile in the afternoon and then I am making stuffed peppers for dinner.  Have a great night!

  1. The Valentine's wreath is adorable! The little bloomers with her name are so cute, such a great keepsake too. ;-)
