Happy Birthday to me!

I can't believe I'm 30 years old today!  When Eric came home from work this morning he had flowers, a card, and donuts for breakfast.  It was a nice surprise. I love having fresh flowers in the house. 

This is how my little one greeted me this morning.  She didn't let me sleep in on my birthday, but how can you not smile as soon as you walk in seeing this sweet face?

All dressed in one of her cute summer outfits I got her at Children's Place.  I think little halter tops are adorable on babies! 

We didn't do much today since Eric had to go back to work this evening.  He slept until 1pm, we had lunch together, and played with Avery.  My good friend Emily came over this evening with dinner and cookies from Panera.  Every summer Panera has this awesome strawberry chicken salad.  We both had that with chocolate chip and M&M cookies.  It was so good!  We spent the evening just relaxing and talking.  I love that we can both just hang out on the couch watching TV and playing on laptops/phones. 

Emily surprised me with this beautiful mama bird necklace!  It has Avery's name on it and her gemstone hanging from it.  I LOVE IT!!!  Emily has the same one with Sophia's name and gemstone on it and I always said how much I liked it.  It was a wonderful surprise.  Thank you so much Emily! 

I'm really looking forward to the next week.  Starting tomorrow Eric is off work for a week.  Tomorrow we are going out for my birthday to either brunch or lunch depending on Avery's nap schedule.  On Monday I'm going shopping down at the San Marcos outlets with Emily and Angie while Eric stays home with Avery.  On Wednesday, Eric's mom Charlene is flying in for a long weekend.  I almost feel like I am getting a birthday week instead of just a birthday!
