Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone!  We've had a nice day at home.  Here is Avery all dressed in her adorable patriotic outfit.  We've done some playing, relaxing, napping, cleaning, and cooking today.  I love days when we are all at home together.

I made a Funfetti vanilla cake today.  I gave Avery her first piece of cake to attack after her dinner this evening.  She LOVED it! 

She grabbed the entire thing and shoved it in her mouth!

Once Avery was in bed, Eric and I had our 4th of July dinner.  We had beer brats on the grill, coleslaw, and baked beans.  It was really good and just enough food for the two of us.  We are going to relax the rest of the evening with a little baseball, beer, and cake.
