shopping, cupcakes, college football

This morning Eric stayed at home with Avery so I could go over to Barton Creek mall and do a little shopping.  I met my good friends Angie and Emily over there, along with baby Sophia and Angie's brother Matt.  We all had lunch together in the food court and browsed the stores.  It was nice to get out for a few hours with friends!  Thanks Eric :)

When I got home the house smelled great.  I started some Hawaiian Chicken in the crock pot before I left.  I decided to make some pumpkin spice cupcakes this afternoon too.
Here is Avery sampling some of the cupcakes.  She was a very tired baby, but loved them!  They tasted great, but for some reason stuck to the insides of the cupcakes papers.  Aren't my fall cupcake papers cute?
What could top a day of shopping and cupcakes?  College Football!!!  GO BIG RED!!!  We love our Nebraska Huskers!  Grandma Charlene is up in Iowa visiting family and has already bought us some new Nebraska gear for this season.  Next year when Avery is walking around more, she is totally getting a cheerleading uniform.  I need to start her young!
Off to enjoy a relaxing evening at home with the hubby.  Have a great Saturday night!

    Oh my gosh, those pumpkin cupcakes papers are ADORABLE!!!! I LOVE them. We enjoyed some football this afternoon too. ;-) See you on Monday!!
